WARD ASSISTANT COURSE -Study Method: Class Training /OR Distance Learning Available
Duration: 4 week Theory & 240 Hours Practical Training. Total Duration 4- 5 Months .Class studies / Distance Learning also available on this course. Requirements: Minimum Grade 10 Or equivalent for International Students , must be able to read , write , speak and understand English . Clear criminal record. Previous health Care experience advantages but not a requirement. The outcome of this course is focused on equipping learners with the basic knowledge of assisting nursing staff with patient care duties in various medical settings such as : Hospitals / Health Clinics / Frail Care Centers/ Rehabilitation Centers / Hospices . It is a foot in the door to basic nursing care as a whole and students who complete this course may aspire to study further in the field after exposure gained by this course. Thus we also refer to this learning programme as an introduction to nursing assistance. Certificate upon completion: YES

Staff Upskill Training
We pride ourselves in offering in service training at facilities that have the need to refresh skills of existing employees. The training consists of 1 week skills development training in your facility where the students are trained and refreshed on basic procedures and regulations. It assists with better communication skills amongst staff and employers as well as staff and patients. Focusing on communication could avoid conflict and results in a more effective working environment. A facilitator from our academy teaches the staff in group format from the manuals that we provide to each staff member on training.
